Ok, so I'm a little late on this. My week stayed crazy. But fun.
Pendragon 6 and 7--As previously said, I love this series. (Notice I didn't last a month:) It's getting a bit more intense as it goes. It's like Ravel's Bolero. It builds and builds and I'm sure that it will explode in some huge explosion of amazingness in three books. 12-14 and 5
The Warrior Heir--This was a great book. Very intense. I'm in the middle of the sequel right now and they are good. It was a little icky in places. Nothing huge, but not something I'm ready for my daughter to read. 16 and 4 1/2
Beauty and the Beast: a Latter-Day Tale--Honestly, this book was pathetic. It's a motion picture, which I haven't seen, and unfortunately the book acts like a motion picture. The story was a cool twist. The bones are there for a good book but this was not a good book. There were about two scenes in the whole book that really grabbed me. That's it. It felt like I was reading a screen play without the extra instructions. Bleh. There was nothing objectionable, so I give it a 10 and a 1 1/2.
The Thief--I love reading stories and getting caught off guard. I was definitely caught off guard by the end of this book. It was a fun romp. There was a small amount of profanity, but it was tempered as the book went on. There's a reason for that, but that would be a spoiler. A fun romp and I can't wait to get my hands on the next two books. 11 and 4 1/2
That's it for this week. I'm really cutting back on my read time, so expect the number of books to go down. Hopefully I'll be back on track to get the next post like this done on Friday or Saturday.
And, for the record, Go USA!!!!

I can't believe how much you read. It reminds me of this guy on the hot wheels commercials when I was a kid. I think it was hot wheels. He would talk super fast. I picture you reading like that guy talks. :)
Dang. More good books to read!
I had to rearrange our mini-library yesterday to make room for all the new books we've been acquiring lately. =)
Thank you for your comment on my balance, or should I say imbalance post. One thing I LOVE about blogging is when that happens, a connection made where someone gets what you're saying, sometimes even to the point of a tear or two. Makes me feel normal! :)
Thank you.
Of that lot I would say The Thief is my choice. Thanks!
yes i'd like to read the thief. and pendragon looks good. nice reviews!
I loved The Thief...and the next two books are equally enchanting. There is, at some point, a fourth book coming, and I can't wait!
(I clicked over to your blog from...somewhere...because of your name - two of my cats are named Arwen and Éowyn.)
