The loverly Charette is coming to lunch today, making it impossible for me to finish my post.
I saw Wicked last night.
That's your teaser.
In the meantime, you can go and read this post in preparation. It's done by Catherine over at Lyric Poetry. It's an old post of hers, but one that has stayed with me for a long time. It also will pertain to part of what I'm going to write about Wicked. She just says it better than me in this instance.

I haven't read or seen Wicked but I must have read enough about it in the past to understand that the story is about the meaning of evil vs good and the role perspective plays in it. Can't wait to hear what you thought of it! April from Finally and Pat from Hamster Wheel were there, too! How fun!
Oh, and tell Charette hi!
I am wickedly jealous already :) !!
We saw Wicked in Chicago a few years ago. I'm interested to read your impressions.
And lunch was sublime. You are beyond lovely...and I'm still in awe of the homemade bread and jam. Thanks again!
